Protect your number
Turbo Notify controls the pace of your sends. The good practices on this page cover the rest.
What Turbo Notify already does
- Sending pace by plan. Every send keeps a minimum gap from the previous one on the same number, from 10 sends per minute on the Free plan to 150 sends per minute on Custom. See the full table and the error codes in Rate limits.
- Warm-up for new numbers. A newly connected number has its volume limited in the first days.
- Burst protection. Fixed limits prevent sending spikes and too many messages to the same recipient.
These protections reduce the risk of WhatsApp treating your number as spam. WhatsApp always has the final say on restrictions, so follow the recommendations below as well.
Good practices
- Only send messages to contacts who agreed to receive them.
- Honor requests to stop receiving messages right away.
- Avoid repeated messages, excessive promotions or communications that are not relevant to the recipient.
- Do not use contact lists bought from third parties or without proof of consent.
- Do not share sensitive or personal information without authorization.
- Prefer a dedicated business number, separate from your personal one.
WhatsApp policies
The WhatsApp policies (opens in a new tab) apply to every number, whatever the integration method. Unsolicited, bulk or annoying messages lead to reports, and reports can lead WhatsApp to restrict the number.
Turbo Notify usage rules
The following are not allowed: use for illegal or fraudulent purposes, sending spam, attempts to get around technical limits and the other practices described in the Terms of service (opens in a new tab) .
If violations are found, the service may be suspended to protect the platform and its other users. When possible, we notify you first. In serious cases, such as spam, fraud or illegal content, the suspension may be immediate.
If WhatsApp restricts the number
The decision is WhatsApp’s, and recovering the number is up to the holder of the phone line, directly with WhatsApp. Turbo Notify cannot reverse that decision and has no responsibility or obligation to intervene, handle or request that the number be unblocked. The full conditions are in the Terms of service (opens in a new tab) .
